My first (and sadly my only) Kataang week entry. The prompt was "Gravity"...so I figured I'd do the flip side, defying gravity. So here are Aang and Katara, taking a joyride-through-the-sky somewhere outside the Eastern Air Temple. I've had this pic in my imagination for a long time, and I'm glad I finally got to draw it.
I got the idea when I realized that I had never seen Katara drawn in airbender clothes before. I mean, she wears fire nation, water tribe, and earth kingdom clothes in the series, but we never see her in air nomad clothes. I don't even think I've seen any
fanart of her in airbender garb. But now that she and Aang are an item, it seems logical that she might don airbender attire at some point.
And the result...she looks really cute! So here are Aang and Katara, maybe ages 17 and 15. This is dedicated to all my fellow Kataangers - we held strong in an endless SEA of screaming, foaming, melodrama-loving Zutarians...and we prevailed! ROA, ROA, FIGHT DA PO-WAH! [/end TTGL reference]
