Excellent tutorial for water that I could use, thank you very much. Now I just need to find a tutorial that shows how to color the transition of Water to Ice..And I'll be effing set. PLEASE, if you made it yourself or know of a good tutorial that shows that please give it to me. I really need all the tutorials on things like that, that I can get my hands on.

Thanks for letting me feature this in the #ArtistCooperative gallery, it's such a lovely tutorial/step-by-step...

Guess what, I'm gonna use it very soon to help me do a water effect! I'm secretely making a birthday present for my boyfriend which is a drawing of us as superheroes... Naturally, control of water is my superpower. LOL!!! I'm so happy I now have a way/reference for the water, I know without this it would look like shit. Er, not literally. XD

Yay, I'm so happy! :la: I actually have a layer-by-layer breakdown of the water, which I can show you: [link] (it's still in mint-toothpaste form, unfortunately)

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! My God! You have no idea how helpful that is.

I suggest you post this as a companion to your other tutorial, I know I'm not the only one who has difficulties with water effects like this.

Teehee, it doesn't look like mint toothpaste. More like mint mouthwash! LOL, I kid. Wonderful tutorial (part 2), thank you. :cuddle:

Oooh, you have the proper "underlying puppet structure" thing going on in your sketches. I try that, and it never works for me. My sketch lines look like angry centipedes that gradually get winnowed down to something solid.

I only use that structure when I'm drawing from a reference pic, so I get the proportions right. When I'm drawing freehand, all bets are off, and I sort of scribble it into existence :XD:
