When I was a kid, ~mountainsandthesea and I were obsessed with Don Bluth's animated scifi film, Titan A.E. Akima was my first encounter with a gun-wielding, badass space pilot, and she obviously left an impression

We watched the film again recently, and we were like...what IS this dialogue?? But I don't care. I still love the movie. And I love the books even more (especially the prequels. Qu'ut Minor, anyone?).

Nice work, especially your use of lighting (though it doesn't look quite natural, the effect in the picture is profound!)
I loved titan ae, it satisfies the space-opera cravings better than the star wars prequels do.
