What could be more romantic than a girl and her weapon?

So I've been watching Soul Eater with my cousin Jordan, and I gotta say, I freakin' LOVE the character designs. Jordan wanted me to draw Professor Stein, but I'm not sure a lowly mortal like me cannot capture Stein's psychotic godly magnificence. Plus, we started this joke about how Soul transferring black blood to Maka during their soul resonance was basically the equivalent of him giving her Weapon Herpes - or, as we like to call it, "Werpes". So ya, I drew MakaxSoul, because I ship the hell out of that shit.

Werpes aside, I really like the way the series explores the concept of madness, employing some very clever visual metaphors along the way. If you like anime with bizarre art, death motifs, over-the-top comedy, and chicks who swing around dudes-in-scythe form, check out Soul Eater!
