Allow me to (re)introduce one of my favorite OCs, the Dream Guide. His backstory is pretty simple: it's his job to ferry people from place to place inside their dreams.
He wears a scarf made of words, which constantly transforms as the script of your dream unfolds. The design on his shirt is both a simplified ribcage and a scorpion, and he wears skull makeup to ward off evil forces. But don't let his sinister appearance fool you - he's pretty cuddly
His name changes from dream to dream (he appears as a slightly different person to everyone he visits), but you can call him either Lucidus, Rêvien (from the French "rêve", or dream, and the verb "revenir", to return) or Kevin LOL
P.S. in case any of you were wondering, my own whacked-out dreams provided the inspiration for this character. Since I met him while I was asleep, I guess that makes him my animus? I'm not particularly cued-in when it comes to dream psych terminology...

He's pretty cuddly His appearance can be disconcerting, but he is a protective/guiding force within the dream world. He sort of hovers in the background of your dreams, giving you a subtle nudge in one direction or another, to make sure you get from point A(falling asleep) to point B to Point C to Point D etc. until you reach point Z(waking).
I wish I had a guide like him in my dreams. I always get lost in my dreams. One time I was dreaming that I was inside something like a huge church but without the icons, candles, etc... and the next thing you know I ended up almost on the top of some kind of a mountain, wearing shorts and a T-shirt, and I couldn't figure out how I ended up there so fast. It was very confusing. I also have a lot of falling dreams.
I have a lot of dreams where I have superpowers, especially waterbending...but as the dream progresses, I slowly realize that having powers is impossible, and I start to lose control of them as a result.
i love the creativity behind this! especially the fact that you designed his image (mainly the scar) to reflect the character and back story that you have given him. I enjoyed looking at this its always great to see artists put some good thought into their work ...great job!
Can you explain me a little bit about him like: personality; is he good or evil; what does he do and stuff...
