Marinette is secretly Ladybug. Adrien is secretly Chat Noir. Marinette adores Adrien, but he's far too busy pining after Ladybug...
So yeah, here they are, side by side, oblivious to the fact that they're in a two-person love triangle. Joke's on them.

I started watching the French version of Miraculous Ladybug online (couldn't wait until it aired in December on Nickelodeon). Initial thoughts: I'm really impressed with the quality of the animation. It's vibrant, colorful, and unusually expressive for 3-D. The bad guys have REALLY creative designs so far, and damn, Hawk Moth's voice is nuts (although his name in French is just...Papillon. AKA, Butterfly. What). Anyway, I'm really curious to see where they go with the series. It seems like there's a lot of room for world-building and interpersonal drama alongside the fight scenes. Kinda reminds me of when my cousins and I used to sit around in my grandma's kitchen and watch Code Lyoko on Wednesdays. Takes me right back to early high school and all its accompanying joys and disappointments. Sigh...the cartoon nostalgia...
