Nima

NPC design for the Avatar RPG I'm running.

Nima is a waterbender healer from the Northern Water Tribe, who came to the Earth Kingdom to study herbalism. Because she excels in her proscribed role, Nima has embraced her patriarchal culture and suffers from deeply internalized misogyny. Her desire to conform to regressive standards interferes with her ability to pursue her true passions. Sheltered but studious, Nima is an enthusiastic scholar who loves learning. Her fearsome animal companion, a snow leopard owl named Iboo, acts as her steed and protects her from threats.
