I just finished Dennou Coil, and ah man...the ending was so sweet and amazing, OMG... I actually shed a few tears.
The show takes place in the near future, where semi-immersive augmented reality (AR) tech has just begun to enter the mainstream. It follows a group of children as they use AR glasses to unravel the mysteries of their half real, half Internet city, using a variety of illegal software tools, techniques, and virtual pets to manipulate the digital landscape.
Even though it was a scifi series, it had such a simple and beautiful humanity to it. It was so...unpretentious. The show took me right back to middle school, to childhood, to small adventures with high stakes, to a time when anything could happen. Even if there were a few slow episodes in the middle, I would definitely recommend this anime to anyone looking for a little mystery and philosophy with a side of heartwarming. Dennou Coil acknowledges the simple tragedies of life but also emphasizes the necessity of moving on and finding new happiness, all while presenting some very interesting speculations about the future of technology. Seriously, give this a watch!
And be sure to enjoy the infamous BEARD EPISODE

Anubis Feature
A journal featuring artwork of my favorite Ancient Egyptian (male) deity, Anubis - god of embalming, preserver of life, guardian of the dead. People sometimes mistake him for a sinister god because of his appearance, but that couldn't be further from the truth. I've always envisioned him as being kinda reserved and polite :XD:
Need Feedback Regarding Prices
I'm still tapped out on doing regular commissions, but I need money pretty badly, so I might toss out a YCH every now and again. How much do you think I should charge for a fully colored YCH like this?
Happy Pride! Enjoy this wlw Feature
